Self Authority

When we get to self-authorities in the hierarchy, we no longer have any motor centers defined, which means we cannot have a motor center connected to the throat center. This means that we are strictly dealing with projectors. If you remember back to how many people in the world are projectors, we are dealing with about 20% of the population. To break that down even further, there are high chances of having mostly emotional and splenic authorities. So here we are dealing with around 5-10% of the population having ego, self, and outer authorities. Something to keep in mind is the influence of higher ranking centers from other individuals. Being around defined emotional, sacral, and splenic centers can interfere with the transmission of guidance for these individuals. It can be helpful as a coach to give your clients space to connect with their intuition and check back in with them a little later so you can remove your energetic influence from the equation.

The G center deals with the sense of self, identity, and direction. For anyone whose identity is their inner sense of guidance, it is going to be important to make sure their concept of who they are supports their success. Essentially, if someone has a poor concept of who they are and is very self critical, they will make decisions based on who they perceive themselves to be. When your identity is your compass, you get to ask the question “Am I the type of person who decides ____?”. This question will guide you towards what is correct for you. The process of trying on the identity of the version of you who makes each of the decisions helps you to feel into what is correct for you. Unlike the emotional authority, you are not trying on each decision to see how you feel, but to see if it feels like YOU. Does it feel like you to eat that for lunch? You are looking for a sense of familiarity in your decisions, and the correct one will feel like walking into your house after being gone for a long time. It is familiar, it is correct, it is you.

Making Identity Based Decisions

When making identity based decisions, you are referencing your concept of who you are. This means that your relationship with your self image and identity can impact the decisions you make. If you are extremely self critical and hard on yourself, your decisions can be affected by your low self worth. Let's use the example of a dream job offer. Someone with low self confidence might see themselves as not good enough to accept that job, and may turn it down even though it is truly what they want. Someone with high self esteem would see their power, and be able to say “yes” with confidence in their ability to perform that job. Self authority decisions are based around who you see yourself as. This means that identity work and self image are extremely important to you. When you make decisions, it should be based on who you are.

There may be this identity that you think you need to be due to conditioning. The version of you that does all of the things that you are “supposed” to do. Maybe they are consistent, fit, wealthy, and have all the best habits…  The version of you that you think will make you successful if you could just be them all the time. This is who you compare yourself to. If you could just be them, your life would be good. Instead, you are you, and you shame yourself for not being this perfect version of you. This can very easily lead to a punishment and reward system based on your behavior. Maybe you eat a “bad” food, and then punish yourself by overeating to the point of discomfort as a way to punish yourself for messing up. Maybe you reward yourself for having a good day in business by letting yourself close your laptop early. This type of thinking will need to be released if you are to embrace your inner guidance. You have a consistent sense of identity; you know who you are at your core. This is what is supposed to guide you in your decision making process. Your sense of self, who you are, and where you know you are going.

Small Decisions

When making small decisions as a self projected projector, judge the choices against your identity. Are you the type of person who has this type of lunch, or that type of lunch? Your overarching identity can be seen in even the smallest choices and habits. Do these choices reflect who you truly are? Do you force yourself to go to the gym every single day for two hours because you desperately want to look a certain way, or are you the type of person who honors their body and rests when you need rest? When making small decisions, ask yourself who you are. Like some of the other more rare authority types, the energy of the people you are around can very easily influence your ability to hear yourself and your voice. If you are having trouble connecting with who you are in the moment, give yourself some space to clear the energy of others and go inward. You are designed to make decisions quickly based on your sense of self. A phrase I have heard a lot from self projected projectors when making decisions is, “This is very me!”. What decision reflects who you are?

Big Decisions

You are still designed to make big decisions quickly and in the moment. There shouldn’t be a lot of waiting involved in your decision making process. However, especially when going through the deconditioning process, don't put any pressure on yourself to make a snap decision. This can heighten anxiety and interfere with your guidance system. So give yourself the freedom to make this decision the right way, instead of rushing yourself to figure it out now. With time and practice your inner guidance voice will become louder and easier to hear. Eventually you will be able to make confident and certain decisions in the moment. But don’t rush yourself! Big decisions should reflect the best version of you. Your identity is ever changing and evolving as you grow into new versions of yourself. As your identity shifts so will your decisions, habits, and behaviors as a reflection of the change. If something truly feels like you right now, and no longer aligns with you down the road, that’s okay. You are allowed to outgrow your old decisions. You are allowed to outgrow old identities. Come back to who you are right now, honor your evolution and journey into who you are becoming, and be gentle with yourself. With each new phase of your identity comes a more authentic version of you. This will be reflected in your decisions.

Get clear on who you are and who you are stepping into. The next version of you who is more aligned, more authentic, and more in tune with their truth. How do they make this decision? If you are unclear, give yourself time to journal on the question “Who am I?” and see for yourself. Your big decisions are made off of what feels the most you.
